Welcome to Emmanuel Learning Academy. Our mission at ELA is to provide a nurturing environment which empowers children to learn through play while building life skills. We encourage student interest through collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and empathy. ELA strives to create a solid foundation of respect, responsibility, and compassion throughout our program in faith.

We offer small class sizes with options for full-time or part-time Preschool, Pre-K preparation, Kindergarten, and Little Explorers for our youngest students (20-36 months). Before school care is available as needed. Students from all backgrounds, faiths, and ethnicities are welcome at Emmanuel.

Through the guidance of Indiana Academic Standards and with a nurturing emphasis on developmentally appropriate practices, our learning community encourages discovery learning and the development of life and school readiness skills. With compassion and faith, our skilled teaching staff helps to foster self-confidence by weaving in learning opportunities that focus on a child's natural ability to learn through play, exploration, and curiosity.

Throughout the year we offer a school-wide field trip and community themed programs visitors. Holiday events such as a Thanksgiving feast, Christmas program, and Pastries with Parents allows our staff to celebrate with your student and extended family throughout the year.

relief from serious learning.

But for children, play is serious

learning.

Play is really the work of

childhood.”

-Fred “Mr.” Rogers

“Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.”
